Dr Nicholas Burke
Director, Occupational Physician
Dr Nicholas Burke is an Occupational Physician in private practice in Brisbane. He has extensive local and overseas experience most recently with Shell International with 15 years work in senior health management positions including key roles with Shell in Melbourne, London, Chester and Brunei. He holds a Master of Public Health (Sydney) and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and is certified with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He has extensive experience in the Service, Manufacturing, Coal, Oil and Gas Industries. He has managed and advised on all aspects of employee health including workers’ compensation, injury management and rehabilitation, health risk management, toxicology, expatriate health, environmental health and employee assistance programs.

Director, General Manager
Ms Di A-Izzeddin has extensive experience within the Mining industry in Queensland both from an operational and injury management perspective. Di has been working within the industry for over 13 years in both regional and remote areas.

Helen Poyzer
Health Risk Manager
Ms Helen Poyzer has extensive experience within the Mining industry in both Queensland and the Northern Territory. Helen has been working in the health risk area for over 20 years, working on both remote sites and in regional management roles. Helen has been instrumental in developing integrated health risk management systems for a number of organizations. These systems encompass all areas of employee health and injury management.

Physiotherapist
Mr David Roberts, Physiotherapist, has been working within the occupational injury management industry for over 20 years. David was a co-developer of the WorkHab Functional Capacity Evaluation system. David provides evaluation services to a variety of industries, particularly in relation to physical demands assessments and functional capacity evaluation.

Gabriel Ruddy
Psychologist
Mr Gabriel Ruddy, Psychologist, has extensive experience in chronic pain management, rehabilitation and redeployment. Gabriel has been working with employees from a variety of heavy industry, both from the perspective of injury management as well as EAP services. Gabriel works closely with Dr Chalk to ensure that any additional requirements in relation to treatment are identified and sourced as appropriate.
