Host Employment Information
What is Host Employment?
Host Employment is when another employer agrees to host an injured worker at their workplace. Programs normally run from 1-3 months. The workers compensation insurer pays the worker’s wages and relevant training and personal protective equipment.
To minimise risk of possible injury/aggravation, 4cRisk will arrange for a work site assessment (WSA) to be conducted by one of our experienced Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists to identify any possible environmental and task-related issues so that these can be resolved prior to the commencement of the host period.
All WSA’s are reviewed by our Occupational Physician for consideration and approval prior to the commencement of the host program.
This is undertaken at no cost to the host employer.
