Dr Stephanie Wan

Occupational Medicine Registrar

Dr Stephanie Wan is an Occupational Physician Registrar practising in Brisbane. Prior to her career in Medicine, Dr Wan completed a dual degree in Biochemistry and Law, becoming a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2000. She then returned to study and completed her Medical Degree at the University of Queensland in 2004.

Dr Wan practised primarily in emergency medicine at various city, regional and rural hospitals until 2013. She has been working in Occupational Medicine since 2015 and commenced her training with the Australasian Faculty of Occupational & Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) in 2020. She has recently completed her Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health through Monash University and is continuing to work towards her AFOEM Fellowship.

She is a Resource Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) qualified Examining medical officer (EMO), an Australasian Medical Review Officers Association (AMROA) qualified Medical review officer (MRO), and a Rail Industry Safety Standards Board (RISSB) registered Authorised Health Professional (AHP).
